The lip mucosa and skin mucosal junction downwards cause insufficient rotation and fuller appearance even if lip filling is performed.

It is possible to make the lip look fuller and more estrogen-rich by rotating the direction of the pink part of the lip forward. Lip filling may also be required in cases where lip removal is required, but the filling after lip lifting will be seen better. It is technically easy to remove the lip filter columns and the skin to be adapted to the columella, leaving a scar to hide in the base of the nose, and also to attach the lip muscle to a firm point above.

It is performed under local anesthesia. It is expected the scar to be less prominent but it is an individual process. There are easy dressings after the procedure; by using waterproof bands, the patient can return to daily life immediately after the procedure.

These bands may need to be used for about ten days and, if necessary, continued for three weeks at night to reduce the scar.
